Information About Aytas
Company's original full name is Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve
Ticaret A.S. Aytas was established in 1985. Aytas began to trade with
importing food grade chemicals to Turkey. Aytas is one of the leading
company in trading ethanol business in Turkey since 1997.
Aytas has been
started business in Turkey to import chemicals for food industry. In 1997, Aytas
entered the ethanol trading for import Turkish market. At the
beginning of importing ethanol, Aytas faced problems with the Turkish
government, since Ethanol trading was controlled by Turkish Monopoly (TEKEL).
TEKEL demanded to control Turkish market as monopoly and to keep control
of the market, it didn't give any Ethanol import permission to any
company. Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. broke this monopol
chain and Aytas has been the first official Ethanol importer company in
Turkey. While importing ethanol, the company manufactured chef's dish
fuels and exported it to most European countries. Because of the low
profit of
Chaffing Fuels and high capital of ethanol trading business, we stopped
to manufacture chafing fuels and we focused on Ethanol trading. Currently we have two companies, Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. 's main focus is the
importing ethanol to Turkish market and exporting some raw meterials to
Aegean Free Zone branch. Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.
Aegean Free Zone Branch's main focus is the exporter of the ethanol. Aytas AFZ
is packing of ethanols
in 220 liters drums, 1000 liters IBC, for medical purposes 5 liters and
1 liters packages, for fuel special 4 liters packing. Also
manufacturer of some special products in bulk, like as special denatured
ethanol, chef's dish fuels, base perfume, bulk perfume,
concentrate screenwash, cancentrate antifreeze, mosquito repellent.
Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS has own offices and a factory
own building in Izmir Ataturk Industry Zone. Aytas Tarim Urunleri Sanayi
Ticaret AS Aegean Free Zone has a factory own building in Aegean Free
Zone. Aytas is exporting to 15 countries.
Aytas is the registered ethanol trader company by Turkish Alcohol &
Tobacco Inspection Department (TAPDK). As of 2022, we closed our
Aegean Free Zone factory due to low profitability in ethyl alcohol
trade. We have also vacated our factory in Atatürk Organized Zone and
rented it out.
Executive Board
Aytas's first generation president was Mr.Kani Aydogdu (1946-2013),
he was the former president of Dogru Yol Party (DYP) Izmir City at the
same time he was the former president of Aegean Region Chamber of
Industry (EBSO) and he was did presidental works at alot of companies
and organizations. Today, Aytas is under control of the second
generation, company's president is the G. Mert Aydogdu and he graduated
from Pamukkale University in Mechanical Engineering and pursuing degree
at 9 September University in Eng. International Relations.
100% of the company's stocks are owned by G. Mert Aydogdu. For more
